What is Snowman Cooling?

Snowman is a PC cooling brand focused on practical, good-value cooling for desktop computers: CPU coolers, AIO liquid coolers, case fans, thermal paste and PC cases.

The range is positioned in the budget and mid-range segments. Air coolers use multiple copper heat pipes and 120 mm PWM fans, many with ARGB lighting, and the newer models add extras such as a digital temperature display or an LCD screen on AIO coolers.

The brand has no dedicated official website, so GamerLab’s product pages are the best place to find current models, specifications and availability. Specifications below are based on manufacturer and product listings and can differ between model versions.

Cooling glossary

TDP (thermal design power)The amount of heat a CPU is designed to produce under sustained load, measured in watts. A cooler’s rated TDP should be higher than your CPU’s TDP.
Heat pipeA sealed copper tube that moves heat from the CPU contact plate up to the cooler’s fins. More heat pipes generally mean more heat-handling capacity.
Tower coolerAn air cooler with a tall fin stack and a fan that blows through it. Check cooler height against your case and memory clearance.
PWM (4-pin) fanA fan whose speed is controlled by the motherboard according to temperature, so it spins slowly and quietly at idle and faster under load.
ARGB (5 V, 3-pin)Addressable RGB lighting that lets each LED show a different color. It connects to a 5 V 3-pin ARGB header, not to a 12 V RGB header.
AIO liquid coolerAn all-in-one cooler with a sealed loop: a pump block on the CPU, tubes and a radiator with fans. It needs no maintenance or refilling.
Radiator size (120 / 240 mm)The radiator length in millimeters, which matches fan sizes: one 120 mm fan or two. Your case must support the radiator size you choose.
Thermal pasteA thermal interface material that fills tiny gaps between the CPU and the cooler’s base to improve heat transfer.
CFM and dBACFM measures how much air a fan moves; dBA measures how loud it is. Good coolers balance high airflow with low noise.
Hydraulic bearingA fan bearing type that uses a lubricant film to reduce friction and noise.

How to choose a Snowman cooler

Jūsu vajadzība Ko izvēlēties
Budget build with a mainstream CPU A 2- or 4-heat-pipe 120 mm PWM tower cooler.
Hotter CPU or heavy gaming and rendering loads A 6-heat-pipe MT6 series cooler, such as the MT6-V4D (listed up to 210 W) or a dual-fan MT6S.
Small ITX case The ultra-thin MC45 with a 92 mm fan (150 W).
Show-off build MT6-V4D with digital temperature display, or a 240 mm AIO with a 2.1-inch LCD.
Clean look and easy RAM access A 120 mm or 240 mm AIO, if your case has radiator mounts.
Better case airflow 120 mm PWM case fans for intake and exhaust.
New build or re-mounting a cooler Fresh thermal paste in a 5 g or 10 g syringe.

Always check TDP, socket support and cooler or radiator clearance on the product page.

How to install a CPU cooler and apply thermal paste

  1. Check compatibility. Confirm your CPU socket, the cooler’s rated TDP, cooler height and RAM clearance.
  2. Clean the CPU. If you are re-mounting, wipe off old paste with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol.
  3. Apply paste. If the cooler has no pre-applied paste, put a small pea-sized dot in the center of the CPU’s metal heat spreader.
  4. Mount the cooler. Follow the bracket instructions and tighten the screws gradually and evenly in a cross pattern.
  5. Connect cables. Plug the PWM fan into the CPU_FAN header and ARGB lighting into a 5 V 3-pin ARGB header.
  6. Check temperatures. Boot into the BIOS or a monitoring tool and confirm that idle temperatures look normal.

Snowman Cooling: frequently asked questions

What is Snowman Cooling?
Snowman is a PC cooling brand offering tower air coolers, all-in-one (AIO) liquid coolers, case fans, thermal paste and PC cases for desktop builds. It is positioned in the budget and mid-range segments.
What products does Snowman offer?
The range includes CPU air coolers with 2 to 6 heat pipes, AIO liquid coolers (120 mm and 240 mm, some with an LCD screen), 120 mm PWM case fans, thermal grease in 5 g and 10 g syringes, and PC cases with ARGB fans.
Which Snowman CPU cooler should I choose?
Match the cooler to your CPU’s TDP and socket. Entry-level 2- and 4-heat-pipe towers suit mainstream CPUs, 6-heat-pipe MT6 series coolers suit hotter CPUs (the MT6-V4D is listed up to 210 W), and the ultra-thin MC45 is built for compact ITX cases. Always confirm TDP, socket support and cooler height on the product page.
Which CPU sockets do Snowman coolers support?
Selected models list support for Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x, LGA1366 and LGA2011, and AMD AM5, AM4 and AM3. Socket support differs by model, so check the product page before buying.
Does a Snowman cooler include thermal paste?
It depends on the model. Some listings state that thermal grease is not included, so check the product description. Snowman thermal paste is also sold separately in 5 g and 10 g syringes.
Should I choose an air cooler or an AIO liquid cooler?
Air coolers are simple, have no pump and are usually the cheaper option. AIO liquid coolers move heat to a radiator, give a clean look around the CPU socket and are a good fit for cases with radiator mounts. Check your case’s radiator and cooler-height support first.
When should I replace thermal paste?
Replace it whenever you remove the cooler, because reusing old paste can trap air bubbles, and consider fresh paste if your CPU temperatures rise for no clear reason. Many pastes are non-conductive, but wipe off any spill from the socket area anyway.
Is GamerLab an official Snowman reseller?
Yes. GamerLab is an official Snowman Cooling reseller.
Kādi ir garantijas un piegādes nosacījumi?
Veikals „GamerLab“ piedāvā 3–5 gadu garantiju, un pasūtījumiem, kuru summa pārsniedz 100 EUR, piegāde ir bezmaksas. Skatīt piegāde un naudas atmaksa un preču atgriešana Sīkāka informācija atrodama šajās lapās.
